Adjustable End Links
I have never messed with any of them, but I see adjustable end links pop up every now and then. Anyone familiar with them?
My real question:
From everything I see on photos it looks like you would have to take the end links off the car to adjust them, then reinstall them. Is this the case?

Re: Adjustable End Links
i never really understood the point of them to be honest. the only reason i can think of is that majority of those endlinks are pillowball style endlinks in which there are no rubber isolators. making them more ridged, like upgrading mounts and bushing. i think they are adjustable to accommodate different swaybars? also from my experience they dont last long and are noisy. it being ball and seat they wear and start clunking. one of your customers with a 350z has similar endlinks and in the past 2 years we have replaced them maybe 4-5 times because they wear and start clunking really bad. those are my thoughts on them

Re: Adjustable End Links
they should have locking nuts to hold the whole solid bar in place once moved away should be able to turn the entire assebily. i would imagine but i have never worked with them.
Re: Adjustable End Links
Sounds like there are flaws.
Mikey, did you install them yourself? Were they adjustable on the car or did you have to take them off to adjust the length then reinstall?
Some cheap ones that I have seen only have one side adjustable.

Re: Adjustable End Links
Yea I've installed quite a few. Depending the brand, some you can adjust while installed and some have to be removed. I prefer the ones that are adjustable on the car for obvious reasons ( less work) but usually once installed you don't have to mess with them again.
