Tsscc #5 July 15th

Im guessing this is where this would go. Who's going to this, anything before the 15th, kinda want to start beating up the wrx.

I am hoping by the 15th I have a car. Also they might make the make up event the weekend before too you never know.

I can't wait for Larry to sign up so I can mark him as a foe.

In the event threads when creatin the thread make sure to put it on the calendar at the bottom.

Events actually start at 9 if you're just watching. We get there around 7:20 or something to walk the track and check in.

Tri-State Sports Car Council is happy to present a Twin Event this weekend, July 14th and 15th of 2012 at Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates.

Thankfully that extreme heat has moved on, though temps are projected to stick in the upper 80's to mid 90's. Nothing to scoff at but still a nice respite from what we have been dealing with.

These events are entirely independent points wise and this twin style is the first part of our effort to give you all opportunities to make up for the lost July 1st event.

This twin style event typically will run a course on Saturday, then on Sunday run that course with some changes but in the opposite direction. SCCA does this style for their National events, and even locally the Chicago Region SCCA does their Twin towards the end of the year with great feedback.

We hope you can join us for either or both of our events!

Pre-registration is still the cheapest avenue @ tsscc.org.

Anyone going to either event? I have a wedding to attend SAT, but I plan on taking picture SUN.

I should be free for either one but I would like to take the subie out! Just need to get it first. Soooo i am in the air until later in the week when I can get more info on when I can get the car.

I'll probably do both. Really want to finally drive my car.

I will be there Sunday with my camera (non-competitor). Wedding Saturday so I don't think I want to be running to the porta-john during cone duty.

Hahahaha like that one dude had to do last tsscc event! He almost had to work his lunch heat because he was gone too long.

Will you be in attendance Sunday? I am hoping Mike Razny will still be willing to announce my presence as a free-lance photographer in the drivers meeting, at which time I would like to have him give you the 12x18 print that you won. Would you be cool with that?

yeah, only like 50 signed up online. wasnt there like 70 for other events? i assume later in the year people tend to drop off. ill want as many runs asi can do get use to the wrx
